A vegan (pronounced VEE-gun) is someone who, for various reasons, has chosen to eat cleaner and avoid using or consuming any animal products. While vegetarians choose not to use flesh foods, vegans also avoid dairy and eggs, as well as fur, leather, wool, down, and cosmetics or chemical products tested on animals. Any thing that has a face vegans do not eat.
why VEGAN? Veganism, the natural extension of vegetarianism, is an integral component of a cruelty-free lifestyle. Living vegan provides numerous benefits to animals’ lives, to the environment, and to our own health–through a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Vegans eat healthier than vegetarians, but yet vegans can still get sick and may not be the healthiest if they are including sugar, flour and processed foods in their diet. All that can lead to high blood pressure, diseases, illness, obesity, and more health conditions. I’m not saying vegans are not epic – I’m just saying that certain vegans can still get sick and not be healthy. But if your a vegan who eliminates sugar, flour and all processed foods, then you’ll be more healthier than the other vegans who do eat processed foods.
Vegans believe in not harming the planet, we are all about saving, eco-friendly things and GREENS! Most althletes like Vennis and Serina (the sister tennis players) are vegans and they are strong, have energy and are active. Veganism is a movement to stop the killing of animals for food. God did not leave animals here on earth so humans csn eat them. He left them here for our fun, play, enjoyment – NOT food. We strongly believe in our beliefs. No animals should be sacrificed for our human consumption. Our bodies weren’t meant to digest animal meat.
Hopefully, you can go inspire others to to become a healthy vegan. It all starts with within.
